SCGMA YPG Event Recap: FHC Tour

On Thursday, August 14, FHC welcomed our Young Professionals Group to their new South Gate campus for an exclusive tour highlighting innovation across the architectural glass and metal industry.

The day began in FHC’s showroom with introductions and product demonstrations before moving into guided walkthroughs of the manufacturing plant led by FHC’s brand managers. Attendees explored every stage of FHC’s operations, from aluminum fabrication and CNC machining to powder coating, certification, in-house testing and shipping and receiving. The tour also showcased aluminum entrances and doors, railings and Steincraft systems, offering a rare look behind the scenes of FHC’s extensive capabilities and its commitment to exceeding industry codes.

Highlights included the Aspire insulating glass entrance system, an award-winning advancement in energy efficiency and performance; FHC’s newly engineered security latch/bolt designed for Steincraft panic handle exit devices; and the next-generation dry glaze railing system, recognized as the fastest of its kind in the industry.

The program concluded with a Lunch & Learn session, where Paul Daniels shared an overview of FHC, introduced new products, and provided insights into estimating tools and real-world applications. The experience offered members an inside look at how FHC continues to push the industry forward while fostering valuable connections with the team driving these innovations.

We extend our sincere thanks to FHC for hosting this exceptional program and for giving our members the opportunity to connect directly with the people and processes shaping the future of the industry.
