ATN Facility

The scope of work includes the construction of their bus parking, charging stations, dispatch office, maintenance facility and Corporate Office.

This project is governed by a Project Labor Agreement. All subcontractors are required to review the PLA and must sign the Letter of Assent prior to starting work onsite.

Midway Sanitary City District

Midway Sanitary City District in Westminster has partnered with the Building Trades Council in building their facilities. Estimated construction cost is $2.5M.

Location: Westminster, CA 92683

General Work Description:
-Interior Remodeling in the MCSD main office building, consisting of approximately 3,700 square feet
-Demolition of an existing 900 square foot out-building
-Demolition of an existing 3,400 square foot out-building
-Interior Demolition of an existing single-occupancy restroom and rework to storage room (Building C)
-Construction of a 3,800 square foot office addition to the existing main office (Building A)
-Construction of a new 940 square foot masonry Locker/Restroom building (Building B)
-Coordination and Installation of temporary office trailers (including utility connection) and relocation of office furnishings from the main building to the trailers
-Underground conduit from the main switchgear to future solar panel carport
-Installation of fire sprinklers in Buildings A and B

Contract Time- Time of completion for the Project shall be one hundred and five (240) calendar days established from the Notice to Proceed.

La Guadalupe Apartments

This project is a 40 unit affordable housing project at 1st and Boyle with an all-union PLA in addition to a 3 bid rule, with some non-signatory companies being considered. In an attempt to keep this project Union, all union contractors are encouraged to consider bidding.

Compton High School

The Compton Unified School District has signed a $170 million dollar Project Labor Agreement with the LA/OC Building Trades.

While glazing is not required to prequalify, glazing contractors will still have the opportunities to bid on these upcoming projects.

Project Description – Compton High School:

Reconstructing the Compton High School campus will include state-of-the-art classrooms, fine arts, and sports facilities that will benefit the students and community of Compton as a replacement High School Facility. All existing buildings will be demolished and replaced with a two-story, type II-B Academic Building (92,500 SF), steel structure – steel special moment frame with SidePlate connections, a one-story Performance Arts Center, type II-B (38,100 SF), steel structure with steel buckling brace frames and steel trusses, a one story Gymnasium and locker building, type II-B (42,132 SF) with steel buckling restrained brace frames and steel roof trusses, a new swimming pool and support structure, a track and field stadium and bleachers with 390 SF press box, a visitor’s concessions and toilet building, new tennis and basketball courts, new lunch shelter, and new parking lots.
