SCGMA Proudly Sponsors Habitat LA’s 2026 Los Angeles Builders Ball

Southern California Glass Management Association was proud to once again sponsor the 2026 Los Angeles Builders Ball, hosted by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles. The annual event brought together leaders across the building, real estate, and philanthropic communities to celebrate partnership, generosity, and a shared commitment to expanding access to affordable homeownership throughout Los Angeles.

This year’s program served as both a celebration and a call to action. In reflection of the challenges faced across the region—particularly the devastating wildfires that displaced families and impacted entire communities—Habitat LA highlighted the ongoing need for rebuilding, resilience, and long-term housing stability. The evening underscored the critical role that sponsors, partners, and supporters play in advancing these efforts.

The 2026 Builders Ball honored three distinguished partners for their outstanding contributions to Habitat LA’s mission. Brookfield Residential was recognized as Builder of the Year for its leadership in creating strong, resilient communities. U.S. Bank received the Foundation Builder award for its continued investment in families and neighborhoods across Los Angeles. Tina Knowles was named Dream Builder for her dedication to uplifting communities and advocating for dignity and opportunity.

Guests enjoyed an engaging program led by renowned host and auctioneer Billy Harris, whose energy and expertise helped drive a successful evening of fundraising. A special performance by Shalamar brought the celebration to a memorable close, filling the room with energy and highlighting the spirit of the occasion.

A particularly meaningful moment of the evening spotlighted Fancy Feet Dance Studio, a longtime community institution that demonstrated resilience following the loss of its original location in the Palisades fire. Their story served as a powerful reminder of the importance of community support and the impact of coming together during times of hardship.

Representing SCGMA at the event were member Tina Edwards with Edwards Glass, and SCGMA staff member Rowanne Khafagy. SCGMA is honored to support Habitat LA’s mission and remains committed to strengthening communities through initiatives that promote safe, stable, and affordable housing.
